Flasher Relays - Electro Mechanical

  • Flasher units are designed to control the flash rate of vehicle directional indicators; this is achieved by providing regular interruption of the electric current in the indicator circuit.
  • There are 3 common styles of flasher units; electro-mechanical and electronic and thermal.
  • Tridon offers an extensive range of flasher units in load sensitive and non load sensitive types.
  • Electro Mechanical flasher units are non load sensitive, therefore do not conform to ADR13, they are only suitable for vehicles manufactured prior to 1990.
  • The flasher unit must be compatible with the vehicle electrical system; the Tridon flasher unit range has been carefully researched and engineered to suit each specific application.
  • Please refer to the Tridon Part Finder for the correct flasher unit for your application.
