TRIDON HISTORY
Tridon Australia was incorporated in 1976 to specialise in the distribution of products to the industrial and automotive markets. It is a 100% Australian owned and managed company.
In 1986, Tridon Australia incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in New Zealand and also set up branch and warehouse facilities in each capital city of Australia.
Tridon has continued to develop its automotive, industrial and hardware product ranges and now has a comprehensive range of products that are sold to the domestic markets in Australia and New Zealand whilst its manufactured products are exported to many countries around the world including Japan, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
MANUFACTURING
Tridon has its manufacturing site and main distribution centre located at Silverwater in the industrial heart of Sydney.
Products manufactured include a full range of solid band worm drive hose clamps, perforated band worm drive hose clamps, T-Bolt heavy duty hose clamps and a comprehensive range of brass battery terminals which are distributed throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific and exported to Japan, North America, Asia and the Middle East. All products are manufactured to either SAE, BS or AS standard depending on the product and are accepted by all motor vehicle OEM’s and industrial OEM’s.
Over the past 10 years, Tridon has invested heavily in manufacturing and is now the leading quality accredited hose clamp manufacturer in the Southern Hemisphere. Tridon is equipped with modern manufacturing equipment, machine tools and assembly equipment designed and integrated for low cost, superior quality and on-time delivery. Tridon is constantly improving product performance and developing new products and processes through a team of highly qualified engineers and technicians.

LOGISTICS
Tridon has an advanced inventory management system which automates the manufacturing and production inventory flow through to purchasing to ensure the right product is available at the right time for our manufacturing processes and customers.
Logistics are controlled by a sophisticated barcoding system such that all goods received and orders picked are scanned to eliminate errors. Product delivery is tracked through a comprehensive computer system linked to our freight companies computers.
Tridon also has the ability to electronically communicate directly with customers and suppliers using EDI, XML etc. to facilitate efficient communications and further eliminate errors.
SALES
Tridon’s products are sold throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific, and exported to Japan, North America, Asia and the Middle East. The Toledo Trade Mark is used on all export products.
Tridon supplies hose clamps either as a first or second tier supplier to Ford, General Motors, Toyota & Mitsubishi and also designs and manufactures specialist clamps for these and other OEM’s.
Tridon also distributes its products through the major automotive and industrial national and regional wholesalers and to the major hardware/DIY chains throughout Australia and New Zealand.
